At Bimmex, we are dedicated to helping BMW owners throughout the Greater Toronto Area get the best service to help maintain their vehicles now and well into the future. We also want to make sure you are properly covered, especially when it comes to auto insurance.
We are not an insurance provider nor do we endorse any specific company, but we also understand how important it is to have the right coverage, especially when it comes to your BMW. As of springtime continues to unfold around us and the weather turns warmer, but days are getting longer, that usually means people are spending more time in their vehicles visiting various places or working a little bit later, getting ready for the summer season ahead.
It’s a good time to get your vehicle properly inspected, have the fluids flushed and changed out, and make sure you have the proper coverage on hand.
Everyone who drives on the Toronto roads is required to have at least a minimum level of coverage. If your insurance is not current, make sure you contact your insurance provider to get the policy reinstated. Then, you need to contact the Department of Motor Vehicles to determine whether you have a fine that needs to be paid.
As for the rest who already have coverage and it’s current, sit down with an insurance broker to go over all of the details and various aspects of your insurance policy. If you’ve never done this, there could be provisions in the policy that are not even necessary for you or your vehicle. There could also be certain aspects missing as a result of trying to save money and get the cheapest policy possible.
For example, many cut rate insurance companies cut out glass coverage from their policies. This means if your windshield or any other windows in your BMW happen to become broken, replacing them may have to come out of your pocket. If you don’t want that or you believe your deductible is not ideal for you at this time, now is a good time to get things adjusted as you prepare your BMW for the summer driving season ahead.
